The Queen of Bullcrap - 2012 This is the first page of a work in progress minicomic I’m making for MICE. It’s a short story that involves two main characters from Maglorificent, and shows off the new character designs/style I’m going for. Let’s hope I get this all done before tomorrow. Like I said in a previous post, I have been busy from paid drawing work, and it has only been until recently that I have been able to work on some of my own stuff again. It’s a bit of relief, but there’s some pressure as I have to whip up some stuff to show all you folks in person tomorrow. Like always, more to come!

Like I said in a previous post, I have been busy from paid drawing work, and it has only been until recently that I have been able to work on some of my own stuff again. It’s a bit of relief, but there’s some pressure as I have to whip up some stuff to show all you folks in person tomorrow.

Happy Maglorificent Monday Tuesday! This is a (very) late Monday/early Tuesday update. I started drawing this as a warm up, however it took a life of its own. This is a slight redesign of one of the characters from Maglorificent. Work continues on my anthology piece. More updates to come!

Happy Maglorificent Monday Wednesday! Hello all, sorry for the recent infrequent string of updates. I got a bit burned out by Boston Comic Con weekend. The picture above is a quick art piece I drew. I’ve been busy working the art for a six page anthology piece called “The Greatest Sneakers of All Time”, which is written by Lindsay Moore. It will be part of the “Greatest of All Time Comics Anthology”, coming out later in the year. Work on Maglorificent has been put aside for the time being, since the deadline for this other project is more immediate, but will resume shortly when I have the time. More (and frequent) updates to come!

Happy Maglorificent Monday! Today’s drawing is a rough character concept. While Maglorificent is primarily a slice-of-life story, there are some dark fantasy undertones that are explored every so often. Chapter 2 visits these themes a bit heavier than chapter 1. I’ve been influenced a bit by my recent gaming and reading habits, playing Skyrim and Dark Souls, while reading the “Game of Thrones” series of books. Stay tuned for more updates!
